Overview
PPGI uses a galvanized steel substrate; PPGL uses an aluminium-zinc alloy-coated substrate. For roofing sheet manufacturing, identify the substrate and metallic coating before specifying the paint system, primer, topcoat and reverse-side film. State whether the quoted thickness is base-metal thickness (BMT) or total coated thickness (TCT), so offers can be compared on the same basis. A RAL 9003 or other color request should include gloss, texture and an approved sample reference. Matte and wrinkle are surface options to confirm, alongside production feasibility, quantity per color and lead time. Sandwich-panel manufacturers should state the core and adhesive system and have the bonding-face coating compatibility confirmed before ordering. Share the roll-forming profile and any adhesion or bend-test requirements. Coil dimensions, protective film, packing and inspection records remain part of the agreed order specification, and color selection alone is not a durability guarantee.
