PPGI uses a galvanized steel substrate; PPGL uses an aluminum-zinc-coated substrate. Matching color does not make the two interchangeable. State the substrate type, base-steel grade and metallic-coating designation required by the project.
For an order referencing ASTM A755/A755M, include the applicable substrate specification and paint requirements. The intended environment, forming process and panel design should guide the selection.
Include the paint system, primer, topcoat and backcoat dry-film requirements. Provide a RAL code or an approved physical color sample, together with the gloss tolerance and protective-film requirement. Color alone does not define the coating system or its performance.
Send PPGI or PPGL, base thickness, width, metallic coating, paint system, color and quantity. Add the destination port and any panel specification or inspection requirements. Minimum order, lead time and packing are stated in the quotation for your order.
Include substrate traceability, metallic-coating results, paint-film measurements and the agreed color, adhesion and forming tests in the inspection plan. Specify coil handling limits and painted-surface protection. Follow the agreed storage requirements to reduce moisture and handling damage before profiling.

PPGI uses galvanized steel; PPGL uses aluminum-zinc-coated steel. Specify the base-steel grade, standard, metallic coating and paint system separately. The environment, forming process, panel design and cut edges affect selection; matching color does not establish equivalence.
A RAL code is a color reference. Also specify the paint system, primer, topcoat and backcoat thicknesses, gloss and texture. Agree a physical reference sample and color-difference acceptance method. Screen colors are preliminary references and do not establish service life.
Provide the profile drawing, bend radius, BMT or TCT, width and uncoiler limits. For sandwich panels, include core material, adhesive and bonding-side coating compatibility. Specify adhesion and bend tests, protective-film storage and removal, quantity per color and destination port.
State the required paint system, such as PE, SMP, HDP or PVDF, and specify primer, top coat and back coat dry-film thicknesses. Provide a physical color sample and agree gloss, texture, Delta E measurement conditions and acceptance limits. Confirm system compatibility, tests and protective-film requirements for your application in the quotation; a paint-system name alone does not establish service life.
