Category FAQ
Category FAQ
What makes specialty alloy RFQs different?
Heat treatment, alloy chemistry, and test scope are often contractual. Missing fields delay both quotation and production release.
Can I quote a commodity grade as substitute?
Only with engineer approval. Do not assume interchangeability from name similarity.
Which tests should I list?
List the tests written in the project specification (mechanics, NDT, hydro, etc.). If unknown, send the standard clause for review.
How should packing be described?
Describe end protectors, bundling, and moisture protection needed for the alloy surface and destination climate.
