Buying notes
Confirm these points before inquiry so the quotation can be practical and specific.
- Confirm grade such as 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 904L, 2205, or 2507 before quotation.
- Specify surface finish (2B, BA, No.1, polished), edge, and tolerance.
- Share size, quantity, destination port, and packing preference for export planning.
- State whether welding (L-grade) or chloride service drives the grade selection.

Category FAQ
Category FAQ
Which stainless grade should I quote first for general fabrication?
Start with 304/304L for mild indoor fabrication. Move to 316/316L when chloride, coastal, or chemical exposure is expected, and confirm the project specification before locking the offer.
What documents ship with stainless steel export lots?
Typical packs include MTC EN 10204 3.1, packing list, commercial invoice, and BL support. Third-party inspection can be added when the PO requires it.
How do I avoid wrong surface finish on coil or sheet?
Write the finish code (2B, BA, No.1, etc.) in the RFQ together with thickness, width, and edge condition. Photos of the required finish help reduce substitution risk.
Can mixed grades ship in one container?
Yes when packing and heat identification stay clear. List each grade, size, and quantity separately so labels and MTC lines stay traceable.
