Overview
DC01 is a cold-rolled steel grade under EN 10130. The name alone does not specify a zinc coating or establish the grade of finished galvanized sheet. If your drawing calls for DC01 with galvanizing, send the complete material specification and coating requirements. For a hot-dip coated product specified to EN 10346, state the required finished grade and coating designation. DC01 and DX51D+Z must not be treated as automatic substitutes.
For cut-to-length sheets or blanks, give thickness, width, length, tolerances, flatness and edge requirements. Describe bending, punching, welding or subsequent painting and identify visible faces. State the thickness measurement basis and how coating mass is reported under the chosen standard. Include quantity, destination port, bundle limits and inspection documents. The quotation should confirm the accepted material specification, coating process, available dimensions, packing and inspection scope before order placement.
