Requests for AZ100 or AZ150 need confirmation against the complete order specification; the designation alone does not establish availability or service life. Confirm whether passivation, oiling or an anti-fingerprint treatment is needed and whether it is compatible with later painting or bonding. Roof-sheet buyers should provide the profile drawing and distinguish feed-coil width from the finished effective cover width. It identifies the nominal aluminium-zinc alloy coating family used by standards such as ASTM A792/A792M. The purchase order must still state the governing standard, grade and AZ coating designation.

Is GL always better than GI?

No. Compare the exposure, formed-panel design, cut-edge condition, downstream painting and project standard. GL performance must not be reduced to an absolute life multiple.

When is anti-fingerprint treatment useful?
