The RFQ should state the JIS edition, dimensions and tolerance, annealed or skin-passed condition, temper and surface, oiling, coil weight, edge, and packing. Common SPCC chemistry limits are C 0.15% maximum, Mn 0.60% maximum, P 0.100% maximum, and S 0.035% maximum, subject to the ordered edition and MTC. A 270 MPa minimum tensile strength applies only when the ordered JIS table requires it; yield strength and elongation depend on thickness, temper, and edition.
