Shipment lots can include EN 10204 3.1 MTC by heat/batch as ordered. Confirm the product standard and any extra tests on the RFQ.
What is the difference between 3.1 and third-party inspection?
Type 3.1 is validated by the manufacturer's authorized inspection representative independent of manufacturing. Third-party inspection is a separately agreed scope. A third-party visit alone does not turn a 3.1 document into type 3.2; agree the required validation and inspection arrangements before ordering.
Can heat numbers be shown on packing marks?
Yes when coordinated before packing. Marks and MTC should be consistent for the contracted heat/batch.
